About Me

Elizabeth Pierce-Director

As Director of The Kinder Cottage I have a Masters in Counseling, 5 years teaching Kindergarten in a public school setting, and 2 little ones of my own.  I am dedicated to education and am continuously learning new techniques to use.  I love singing, dancing and working with young children.  I love the excitement and enthusiasm little ones have when they are learning about the world around them.  I use hands on learning, exploring as well as having fun.  I read at least 2 stories a day to foster the joy of reading and work on monthly based themes for teaching.  I believe in Montessori principles and use the Love and Logic and Capturing Kids Hearts guidance models.
