The Kinder Cottage

We are not just another day care! 

We are geared to prepare your child for school with activities, routines, and schedules similar to those used in Kindergarten.  We accomplish this by providing monthly themed based hands-on activities, which encourage your child to explore, laugh and learn while getting ready for the most important years of their education.

 

Our Philosophy

At The Kinder Cottage we care for children ages 3, 4 and 5 years in a Kindergarten Readiness Program.  We believe that children should be encouraged to explore the world around them and have enriched activities provided to them. 

We also believe that each child is recognized as a unique individual who brings his or her own gifts to the program and deserves to be given the encouragement and space to try new things and explore new ideas.   We use philosophies based on Montessori principles and by providing a healthy and safe environment and the tools children need, each child can build a solid foundation that will carry them through a lifetime of growing and learning.   Through love, respect, guidance, and encouragement each child at The Kinder Cottage will prosper emotionally, intellectually, physically and socially.
